KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One man died and another was injured Sunday in a one-vehicle accident in Kansas City, Kansas.
KCK police were called to the 4400 block of Victory Drive around 9:19 p.m. for a reported injury crash.
Officers found a black pickup truck near that location that had wrecked with two men inside.
The driver, identified Wednesday as 33-year-old Joseph Smith of KCK, died on the scene.
The passenger was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries.
