UPDATE: March 4, 2018, 4 p.m. -- The Missouri Highway Patrol has identified the man killed in an officer-involved shooting as Michael Mcentee, 70, of Centerview, Mo.
Both deputies injured by glass in the incident were treated at a hospital and released.
The investigation continues.

JOHNSON COUNTY, Mo. -- A man is dead after an officer-involved shooting in rural Johnson County, Mo. Saturday afternoon.
According to a press release, two Johnson County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a home on NW 475 Rd. at 3:13 p.m. to the report of someone shooting at a nearby home.
When the deputies arrived at the scene, they were immediately fired upon by the suspect, with two bullets hitting the side window of their vehicle.
As the deputies retreated to a safer position, the suspect reportedly moved to another location and continued to fire shots at their vehicle.
Deputies got out of the vehicle, took cover and fired shots back, according to the release.
The suspect was shot and died from his injuries. His name has not yet been released.
Both deputies were taken to an area hospital to be treated for injuries caused by the shattered glass of their vehicle.
An investigation into the incident has been turned over to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's Division of Drug and Crime Control.
No further information was released.
