Man killed on Main Street in Greenwood, police say

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One man died in a possible shooting overnight in Greenwood, Missouri, police said.

Officers were called to the 2200 block of Main Street on the western outskirts of town around 2 a.m. Friday on a possible shooting call.

Once they arrived, they found the man deceased. He was later identified as 65-year-old Randy Cox, of Greenwood.

The exact cause of death wasn’t immediately released.

Police said Friday morning that they were questioning a woman in connection with the incident.
