KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Harrisonville police are investigating after a child said a man tried to abduct him Thursday.
According to a post on the Harrisonville Police Department Facebook page, a 12-year-old boy's mother reported to officers that her son said he was approached by a man in a black mini-van on the town's square near Butler and Wall St. The man was wearing a ski mask and told the boy to get in the van but the boy hit him with his skateboard and ran away.
The boy told police the black mini-van had blacked out windows and a "Revenge" sticker in the back window.
