A man was sent to the hospital with serious injuries after he was trapped in a burning home on Friday.
Firefighters were called to the 3000 block of East 62nd Street around 1 p.m. They rescued the man and he was sent to a local hospital.
His identity has not been released. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
