Friends and relatives celebrated Friday when Jason Greene return home after four months of treatment.
Greene suffered severe head trauma when he crashed on his bicycle last April. He couldn't walk and suffered memory loss.
He had surgery and therapy in Kansas City and went to Denver for additional treatment and therapy. Four months after the bicycle crash, Greene is walking and talking and says his memory is slowly returning.
"I am so thankful to my friends my family, the medical team," said Greene.
He thanked God and was grateful for getting in the right hands for treatment.
"I do believe I cheated death," Greene added.
His wife Mary said that four months ago she didn't know she had the strength to handle the situation.
Mary Greene said, "God will never give you more than you can handle, just believe that it's true."
The Kansas City couple is expecting their 10th child later this month.
