KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Police identified the man killed in a shooting in the area of 77th and Yecker Sunday.
Officers were dispatched to the shooting around 1 p.m. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was rushed to an area hospital, where he later died.
KCK police identified the victim as Gabriel Jackson-Lewis, 25, of Kansas City, Kansas.
Police said a person of interest is in custody, and no formal charges have been made at this time.
