UPDATE, Monday, Jan. | Police have identified the victim as Luis Deras-Orellana, 21, of Kansas City, Kansas.
Sunday, Jan. 5 | A man was found shot to death in the 3000 block of North 34th Street in Kansas City, Kansas, early Sunday.
Officers were called to the scene on a reported shooting just after 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
Upon arrival, officers located a Hispanic male with several gunshot wounds.
He was transported to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
His identity has not yet been released.
