One man was injured in a shooting in Kansas City, Missouri.
Kansas City police said the man left his residence in the area of 27th and Bales in a vehicle with his girlfriend. At or near the intersection of 28th and Bales, the two were alarmed by the sounds of shots being fired from an unknown direction, by unknown individual(s), into their vehicle.
Police said the victim was struck and drove himself to the fire station in the 3200 block of Indiana where he was immediately transported by the Kansas City Fire Department for treatment.
Police said the man’s injuries are life-threatening.
