KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Frank Clark is coming off his best game as a Chief. The new defensive end tallied five tackles and two sacks in Denver against the Broncos. But while that was Clark's top performance on the field, off the field he attempted to sack six questions with Mick Shaffer.
41 Action Sports Director Mick Shaffer: Name all the different positions you played in high school football.
Chiefs Defensive-End Frank Clark: Wide receiver, I was one of the best kickers.
Shaffer: You kicked?
Clark: You know, a little kicker, a little punter at the time. Played a little bit of running back. Played some tight end. Played some safety. And I played defensive line. I played six positions, bro.
Shaffer: No offensive line?
Clark: No offensive line. Everything but offensive line.
Shaffer: One-man team, we're picking up there. You were also a stud sprinter back in the day. What's your best track and field event?
Clark: I fell in love with the 4x100.
Shaffer: Big team guy.
Clark: Yeah.
Shaffer: Two for two so far. You got them both right. Alright, Question No. 3: You grew up around there, can you name all five Great Lakes? Because I can't. I'm just wondering. What are they?
Clark: Lake Huron, Lake Erie, Lake Michigan, Lake Ontario...
Shaffer: What's the biggest one?
Clark: Let me see.
Shaffer: Lake Superior is the last one.
Clark: Oh yeah, Lake Superior.
Shaffer: Listen, I'll give you that one. That's pretty good. You got more right - 80 percent, right there. Alright, you're from Cleveland. Who's bigger: Lebron in Cleveland or Pat in Kansas City?
Clark: Ah man, probably Pat. Probably Pat out here, man. That guy is huge in KC.
Shaffer: That's correct and Lebron left twice. Pat hasn't left.
Clark: Pat hasn't left, man. He's legendary, baby.
Shaffer: Question No. 5 here: You spent some time in Seattle. How do you like your coffee? Are you a coffee guy?
Clark: I'm real big on my Java Chip Frappuccinos, you know, venti. I get those with a little extra drizzle of chocolate, you know? That keeps me sane throughout the day.
Shaffer: Alright, you got that one right with the little extra drizzle. Final question here: You got Tyrann Mathieu, a honey badger back there. What's your spirit animal?
Clark: I don't know, probably like a unicorn black.
Shaffer: Oh boy. You're going to have to explain that one.
Clark: Something magical and something different, you know what I'm saying? Something really, like, spiritual.
Shaffer: I was going to call it wrong if you said a wolverine or something like that, but unicorn black, that's going to get it done.
Clark: Unicorn black.
Shaffer: You got them all right. Nice job. Six out of six. Is there anything Frank Clark can't do? Apparently not.
