Missouri State Rep. Randy Dunn says his opponent, Derron Black, stole his campaign signs and that he has the photos to prove it.

Dunn said, "I was leaving out of a building one day and looked out of a window next to the elevator and saw my opponent stealing the yard signs from that lot."

He snapped several photos as the man left.

"It was absolutely clear to me that it was him that was doing the stealing," Dunn emphasized.

Doris Wilson had one of about a dozen signs that were stolen or vandalized.

"I ain't going say what I want to say, but I was upset. I sure was upset, honey," Wilson said. She supports Dunn for re-election and after contacting his office, her sign was replaced.?

We reached out to Black to get his response to the claims. After multiple calls and visits to his home, he did answer and agreed to call us back. To date, we have not received any comment from the candidate.

When asked why he wanted to tell this story and share the photos, Dunn said, "If it is in fact someone who is aspiring to hold elected office, I think it's important for the community to know that so when they go to the polls, they understand the character of the individuals that are asking for their vote."?

Dunn said he has filed a police report with the Kansas City Police Department.
