Mizzou suspends point guard Terrence Phillips

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Mizzou suspended point guard Terrence Phillips Friday night.

The team did not release any details about his suspension. It only released the below statement.

Terrence Phillips has been suspended indefinitely from the Mizzou Men’s Basketball program for a violation of team policy. Phillips’ future status with the program will be determined in coordination with campus and department leadership. 

Phillips has averaged 2.5 points per game and 10.6 minutes per game this season.

The Tigers play at Mississippi State on Saturday.
