Moon Marble Company in Bonner Springs, Kansas is gearing up for their annual marble show.
This event draws thousands of people from around the country.
A toy that has been around for generations still manages to fascinate children and adults.
"The colors, the tactile thing. I think the kids are just really attracted to it," said Lynda Sproules, the co-owner of the store. "It's fun, we've got a lot of kids interested in marbles."
Sproules said the Marble Crazy Show keeps growing, and she is not surprised when so many children come and get hooked on marbles.
Neither is her business partner.
"I think it's nice to see kids interested," said co-owner Bruce Breslow. "I think it's important to that we still learn how to make things and do manual crafts.
The event not only features marbles of every shape and size, but also artist who make unique marbles.
There will also be demonstrations on how marbles are made.
The Marble Crazy Show happens on Friday from noon to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, click here.
