More neighbors are coming forward saying Deffenbaugh Industries isn't picking up garbage on time.
"I was told by a neighbor before I moved here back in October that my trash wouldn't be picked up on time, and since moving in my trash hasn't been picked up on time," said Emily Tan, a homeowner in Parkville, Missouri. "It would be nice if they had more employees who were able to pick up our trash."
In July, some Johnson County homeowners told 41 Action News Deffenbaugh hadn't picked up trash in weeks.
41 Action News reached out to Deffenbaugh Industries. Here's what they told us via email:
"We understand that our service delays coupled with the service day change in this community, has not met our own high standards nor the customers. To address this issue, we have hired over 35 new drivers that are currently in various stages of a 8-week driver program to ensure safe, reliable operations. With the additional drivers, we will significantly minimize collection issues. We apologize for any inconveniences."
