KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, police said Wednesday that a man involved in an October motorcycle crash has passed away from his injuries.
KCPD said the crash happened on Oct. 30 around 5:30 p.m. on Interstate 35 near Southwest Trafficway.
Investigators said a Ducati 848 motorcycle was headed north on the interstate when traffic "slowed quickly" and the driver of the motorcycle was unable to stop.
The driver lost control and crashed.
He died from his injuries on Nov. 24, nearly a month after the crash.
The driver was identified as 64-year-old David Lewis.
