KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A motorcyclist was killed in a one-vehicle crash on Sunday evening in Kansas City, Missouri, police said.
Around 9:15 p.m., a Harley Davidson motorcycle driving northbound on U.S. 71 came up behind another vehicle on the exit ramp to 85th/87th Street, Blue River Road and Hickman Mills Road. The motorcycle passed the vehicle in the second lane and “gunned it,” hitting the guard rail several times, police said.
The motorcyclist was ejected over the guard rail and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver’s name has not been released.
