UPDATE, 11:18 a.m. | The Missouri State Highway Patrol has canceled an Amber Alert for 2-year-old Brexlee Greenlee. She is unharmed and the suspect is in custody.
ORIGINAL STORY | The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert Tuesday morning for 2-year-old Brexlee Greenlee.
Brexlee has brown hair and brown eyes and weighs about 35 pounds. She is 2 feet tall, MSHP said.
She was last seen with 27-year-old Chelsea Greenlee (pictured), who authorities say is believed to be armed and is threatening to harm the little girl.
Chelsea Greenlee was last seen wearing a black Kansas Jayhawks shirt. She has red and purple hair, brown eyes, is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 135 pounds.
MHSP said the abduction happened just after 9:30 a.m. near 1927 Main St., Carthage, Missouri.
Authorities believe the pair traveled south from Webb City on Missouri 294 in a black 2009 Chevrolet Malibu with Missouri license plates LE5-F5G.
