INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — Five adults and two kids are displaced after a house fire early Monday morning.
Fire crews arrived at a home in the 16000 block of East 3rd Terrance just before 2 a.m.
When they arrived, fire and smoke were showing from outside of the home.
Five adults and two children were inside.
At least one person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
The cause of the fire is unknown. The home is a complete loss.
