KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Can you believe? It’s official, Netflix’s “Queer Eye” is in Kansas City for its third season!
The Fab Five have already been spotted in KC. On Thursday, co-hosts Antoni Porowski, Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown, Tan France and Jonathan Van Ness posted pictures and videos on Instagram of them celebrating their Emmy nominations downtown. They were swimming in Two Light’s pool, with Kansas City’s skyline behind them.
“Queer Eye” received four Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Structured Reality Program, Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program, Outstanding Cinematography for a Reality Program and Outstanding Picture Editing for a Structured or Competition Reality Program.
“Queer Eye” is a reboot of Bravo’s “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” that ended 15 years ago. The Fab Five are specialists in food, culture, grooming, fashion and home design.
Each episode, team members spend a week with their subject, who the Fab Five call heroes, giving fashion, cooking and professional advice, as well as redesigning a space for them.
Production on the eight-episode third season begins Monday, July 16. The season will debut in 2019.
