New KCPD officers to graduate Thursday

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department will welcome 29 new officers to the force Thursday night.

The new recruits will graduate from the police academy at 6 p.m.

They will hit the streets Sunday with their field training officers for their first shifts as official members of the department.

KCPD shared their congratulations on their Facebook page.
