KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A new thrift store is offering people in need a one stop shop for everything from clothes, food, and job skills.

The Landmark Unique Thrift Store and Food Pantry opened Saturday March 7th.

The store offers discounted clothes, free canned goods, as well as a leadership classes where resume help and job skills are provided.
Regina Wright explained she came up with the idea for the store because it was in her heart to help people.

“Some people just need an uplift and if we can come in here and uplift spirits some kind of way, the clothes are not expensive. They’re very reasonable. Not only that, sometimes your cupboard gets a little low with food and you don’t know where to go," said Wright.

The store and pantry will be open Friday from 9am to Noon and Saturday from 9am to 3pm.

The thrift store is located next to Landmark International Church at 8733 Sni-A-Bar Road in Kansas City, Missouri.

Wright added people who want to make donations can drop them off at the church during service hours or the store during business hours.
