KANSAS CITY, Mo. — No one was hurt when an allegedly impaired driver hit a Missouri State Highway Patrol car over the weekend.
MSHP’s Troop H said the crash happened in the early morning hours of Saturday on Interstate 29 near Craig, Missouri.
The trooper was stopped to help a stranded driver when the impaired motorist hit the patrol car from behind.
The trooper, stranded driver, and impaired driver were uninjured.
“There is no room for impaired driving on Missouri roadways,” Troop H posted on Twitter after the crash. “If you choose to drive impaired, you risk your life, those in your vehicle and innocent motorists. Be responsible and never drive impaired.”
