KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The North Kansas City Police Department has a new chief of police.
Kevin Freeman was sworn in Monday morning.
Freeman has served the NKC Police Department for more than 22 years — advancing through the ranks from patrol officer to detective to sergeant and finally to major — before his most recent promotion.
