KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Olathe Police Department is investigating a deadly crash involving a motorcycle and SUV.
It happened just after 8 a.m. Thursday near the FedEx facility on West 167th Street.
When officers got to the scene, they found 23-year-old Dade Allyn Smith of Overland Park who'd been driving a motorcycle.
Smith was unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene, though he had been wearing a helmet.
The driver of the SUV was not injured.
