KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Olathe police said reports of a shooting near downtown Saturday night were unsubstantiated.
Police said officers were made aware of a disturbance near the 100 block of North Kansas Avenue.
There were reports of shots fired in the area.
Officers who were working the Old Settlers festival and on-duty patrol officers went to the scene to investigate.
They found the reports of a shooting to be unfounded, police said Sunday.
They did find a woman who was injured in a fall.
