In the interview, Madasani said the support from the community was overwhelming.

"The kind of support we've been getting right after it. The moment we reached the hospital; after coming back from the hospital; the way my friends started coordinating for us; the way Garmin going out of their way to help Shrinvas' family in these tough times, helping me, helping Ian who got affected in this," he said.

Despite the shooing Madasani, believes in the greater good.

"This is something that you know was malicious intent on just one person and that's not what this community stands for," he said.
