OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Olathe West sophomore Brennan Connell collapsed as he was pitching in a baseball game Monday night.
It happened at Blue Valley Southwest’s field when Brennan apparently went into cardiac arrest.
According to Olathe Public Schools, the 16-year-old is now in stable condition at an area hospital.
It took the quick thinking of a woman at the game and an AED defibrillator to revive Brennan.
His family is asking for privacy at this time while they gather answers and support Brennan in his recovery.
