KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police are investigating a homicide after a double shooting near 16th and Elmwood Sunday afternoon.
Officers were called to the area around 1:15 p.m. to investigate the sound of gunshots. However, police say they were unable to find any victims or suspects.
A short time later, two shooting victims arrived at a local hospital by private vehicle.
One person died at the hospital and the other is in stable condition.
There is no suspect description or motive at this time.
The investigation continues.
