KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The driver of a sedan was killed, and four other people injured in a two-vehicle crash at 10th Street and Parallel Parkway just after midnight.
Kansas City, Kansas, police said the initial investigation revealed that a four-door sedan, occupied by three adults and two juveniles was crossing Parallel northbound on 10th when it was struck by an SUV, occupied by two adults, that was traveling eastbound on Parallel.
The driver of the sedan died at the scene.
The driver of the SUV fled on foot.
The investigation continues, and anyone with any information is encouraged to call the police.
