Woman wanted in connection with fatal shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man was killed and a woman was shot during an early-morning argument in an apartment complex at Armour Boulevard and Gilham Road.

Kansas City, Missouri, police engaged in a standoff with a possible shooter, but the individual was not located after several hours.

However, police have asked for help locating Zaucheauna Lewis, 19, who is considered a subject of interest in the homicide in the 400 block of East Armour Boulevard.

Lewis is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees her is asked to call 911 and is urged not to approach her.

Officers were called to the location shortly after 3:00 a.m. on Saturday after receiving reports that several people were arguing outside one of the apartment buildings.

That argument led to a shooting.

The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the female victim was transported to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
