KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Police say one person was shot and killed Tuesday afternoon.
Around 4:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to 55th Street and Michigan Avenue on the incident.
Police told 41 Action News the gunshot victim was located on the scene and pronounced dead. The victim is a black male in his late 20s or early 30s, according to police.
No suspect information was immediately available.
The case is being investigated as a homicide.
