KANSAS CITY, Kan. — A woman suffered critical injuries in a crossover crash Saturday afternoon in Kansas City, Kansas.
Police said a maroon SUV was traveling west on State Avenue when her car bounced off the curb several times then crossed a grass median and went into the eastbound lanes.
One car tried to swerve to avoid the woman's car, but struck the rear of the vehicle.
Police said the woman's car spun and stopped before a second car crashed into the side of the maroon SUV.
The drivers of the other two cars were taken to local hospitals with non life-threatening injuries.
