KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person is dead after a shooting Sunday morning.
Kansas City, Missouri, police were called to Independence and Monroe avenues just before 9 a.m. on a shooting call. When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive man. He was declared dead at the scene.
On Tuesday, police identified the victim as 22-year-old Joseph Mangol.
Police said this is the third shooting at this location this year.
