KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A one-year-old is dead after an accidental drowning in Pettis County.
According to Missouri Highway Patrol, it happened at a private pond on Tatum Loop in Sedalia, Missouri.
Authorities say the toddler left the residence on Thursday just before noon and was later located in a private pond. Life saving measures were performed. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
