For an Overland Park mother, Friday marks one year since police confirmed to her the body of her daughter was found in a well.

Janina Vasquez was last seen leaving the Isle of Capri casino on Feb. 12, 2015.

City crews discovered the 27-year-old's body a week later in a well at Berkley River Front Park.

The cause of her death was determined by officials as blunt force trauma to the head.

The case remains open, but police say the cause of her death is accidental.

Vasquez's mother, Jenny Cochran, says some things don't add up. Her daughter called 911 that night and police searched the park, but couldn't find her.

Cochran and police want to find the driver of this red car seen leaving the casino and arriving at the park. They believe that this is the last person to see her alive.

"That person has never come forward," said Cochran. "We really need the public's help to try to find out what happened to her that night in the park."

If you recognize the vehicle, call the Kansas City Police at ---

Cochran has setup a reward and memorial fund called Justice for Janina.
