KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Officers with the Lawrence, Kansas, Police Department responded shortly before midnight Friday to a reported stabbing in the area of 14th and Ohio streets near The Wheel, a popular college bar.
When officers arrived they interviewed a man who said he was stabbed with a knife after getting into an argument with another man. He was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police are still looking for more information on the suspect, who fled the scene on foot.
