KANSAS CITY, Mo. — An overturned dump truck on Interstate 435 in south Kansas City, Missouri, snarled rush hour traffic Wednesday morning.
According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, the dump truck overturned in the eastbound lanes of the interstate near Holmes Road shortly before 8 a.m.

That area is part of a work zone in which crews are working on the I-435 South Loop Link project.
At least three eastbound lanes were closed as emergency responders tried to clean up the dump truck’s spilled load and get the vehicle upright.
Kansas City Scout tweeted that construction crews had to move a barrier to facilitate the efforts.
MoDOT said there were no injuries reported in the incident.
KC Scout showed an estimated clearance time of 10:40 a.m.
