KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The City of Parkville will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for its wetlands restoration project Wednesday.
Three different areas of wetlands will be added to Platte Landing Park.
One will be in the northern area, two others will sit in the central and southern areas.
Platte Landing Park has 130 acres of land.
The focus of the restoration plan is to restore about 60 acres of the site for thriving wetlands and prairie habitats.
The groundbreaking will begin at 1 p.m.
