KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A female pedestrian was struck and killed early Sunday morning near the intersection of East 47th Street and Ridgeway Avenue.
Kansas City, Missouri, police were called to the scene just after 5:30 a.m.
KCPD investigators said an unidentified female was lying in the eastbound lane of 47th Street just east of Ridgeway. She had been struck by a Ford F-150 van traveling east on 47th Street and was pronounced dead at the scene.
