KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A pedestrian was struck and killed Wednesday night in Independence.
Just after 6:30 p.m., officers were called to the intersection of Noland Road and Lynn Court.
While walking at the crossing, a man was struck by a Buick turning south from Noland to Lynn.
Police say the driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
