KANSAS CITY, Mo. — PepsiCo announced it will be opening a distribution center in Edgerton, Kansas.
The food and beverage company - which distributes brands like Pepsi, Lays, Quaker Oats, Tropicana and more - will open a facility to distribute Gatorade products.
The distribution site will be located in Logistics Park Kansas City.
“Today’s announcement, especially during the pandemic, is a welcome boon for the workforce across the region and shows PepsiCo’s desire to grow their network and support our neighbors," Edgerton Mayor Donald Roberts said in a release.
According to the release containing the announcement, PepsiCo will be located in the largest speculative building in the Kansas City metro and in the state of Kansas.
