They say "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery," and we're honored at 41 Action News.
The Piper School District has joined our campaign for a kind Kansas City.
"I said I love this video so I showed it to my superintendent so we just took it and ran with it," said Charity Monroe, a sophomore at Piper High School.
Monroe and friends saw the video that 41 Action News created to promote a kinder city, and they decided to create their own version.
"The purpose of the video is to promote diversity and inclusion here at Piper," said senior Michelle Obiesie. "We've had a lot of racial tension at our school and I feel this video will help bring our school back together."
More than 600 students worked in front of the camera and behind the scenes to share the message.
