OLATHE, Kan. – A young Olathe woman has a long, hard road ahead. Her family is hoping the community can help make it easier.

SPIN! Pizza will donate 10 percent of Monday’s sales at its five Johnson County locations to help pay Ashley Lamb’s medical bills.

Lamb, 21, was seriously injured in a boating crash on May 19 at the Lake of the Ozarks. She suffered several facial fractures and a traumatic brain injury. Lamb was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri where she remains.

"We really felt like being able to have this would show our love and support and especially help with her medical bills,” said Libbi Reichert, Marketing Coordinator with SPIN! Pizza.

Once Lamb can return home, her mother Kim Prieb said she will have to go through a full-time rehabilitation program.

"No matter what, we can tackle anything as a family. We're good, we're strong,” said Prieb.

Lamb worked at SPIN!’s Olathe location from 2013-2017 while attending Olathe East High School and during breaks from Kansas State University where she will be a senior studying marketing.
