KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The skies over Kansas City will be taken over by airplanes of all sizes this weekend.
Thousands of people are expected at the Charles B. Wheeler Airport for the KC Air Show.
Gates open at 9 a.m. with performances beginning around 10:30 a.m.
The Buck O'Neill bridge will be closed for the weekend, but there are many other ways to get to the airport.
"There's maps and you can see where you can park and then you jump on the RideKC buses, they're air conditioned. There's 80 buses, so it should be easy to get here and get back," Sharon Snowden, the KC Air Show spokesperson said.
