Platte County Sheriff's deputies find 204 pounds of marijuana after chase

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Platte County Sheriff's deputies found 204 pounds of marijuana in a van after a chase Friday.

At 2:05 p.m., Platte County Sheriff's Office deputies were involved in a chase of a 2008 White Ford E-350. After the van stopped, deputies found about 204 pounds of marijuana. The sheriff's office said the estimated street value is $922,000.

Destiny N. Browning is charged with felony delivery of a controlled substance. She was also charged with two misdemeanors — failure to yield to an emergency vehicle siren. 

Paul Deliz is also charged with felony delivery of a controlled substance. 

Both are being held at the Platte County Detention Center. Their bonds are each set at $15,000.
