KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- A teen died after a two-car crash Saturday evening.
According to Police Chief Terry Zeigler, the victim is 17-years-old.
Police were called to the 6700 block fo Georgia Ave. around 7:46 p.m. When they arrived they found a tan pickup and a blue vehicle involved in an accident.
Police say a black female was getting out of the truck when the blue vehicle ran into them. The teen was on the sidewalk by the time of the accident. She was taken to an area hospital where she later died.
The other occupants of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The identity of the victim will be released pending positive identification and family notification.
The accident remains under investigation.
