KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A man is in custody after a nearly six hour standoff early Saturday morning.
Police were called to the 2400 block of East Linwood on a sound of gunshots.
Upon arrival witnesses reported a man was upset with his girlfriend and fired several gunshots into the air before going back into the home.
Negotiators were called to attempt to make contact with the man.
Police say the man and several others were inside the home.
Shortly after 8:00 a.m. Saturday the man surrendered to police without incident.
No injuries were reported.
