KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City police were in a standoff with a possible robbery suspect near 40th & Pennsylvania Avenue.
Just after 11 a.m., officers were called to the scene in the 600 block of West 40th street.
A possible robbery suspect was reportedly holed up in a residence there.
Negotiators worked toward a peaceful resolution and took the suspect into custody without incident.
While the standoff has concluded, the investigation into the robbery continues.
