KANSAS CITY, Mo. - UPDATE 6 PM 4/17/2017: Police say the person killed at Truman and Hardesty late Monday was Jesus G. Reyes, 15.

Police officers found two men shot inside a car stopped at the intersection of Truman Road and Hardesty Avenue late Monday night.
A police spokesperson said one man died and paramedics took the other to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
As of Tuesday morning, police had not announced any arrests or descriptions of potential suspects in the case.
The spokesperson said officers were on routine patrol in the area shortly after 10 p.m. Monday when they found the car in the middle of the intersection.
