KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Power and Light District’s Super Bowl watch party is expanding.
The district announced on Twitter Wednesday that streets will be closed on Sunday and a 15-foot LED screen will be located on Grand Boulevard to make viewing the game more accessible.
Grand Boulevard will close at 6 a.m. Sunday from East 13th Street to Truman Road.
Walnut Street will be closed from East 13th Street to Truman Road.
The giant television will be placed on Grand Boulevard.
A 30-foot beer truck and grilling stations also will be part of the festivities.
Kickoff for Super Bowl LIV is at 5:30 p.m. CST.
